MV Post-Production
You Shot It. We Make It Shine.
Professional music video editing and post-production. Send us your raw footage and we handle everything from the first cut to the final color grade.
Phone footage, DSLR, or cinema camera — we work with whatever you captured. Our job is to turn your raw clips into a music video that feels intentional, polished, and ready for release.
What This Service Is
Post-Production, From Rough Cuts to Final Delivery
You have already done the hard part — filming your music video. Now the footage needs to be shaped into something that holds attention, tells a story, and looks professional. That is where we come in. We take your raw clips and handle the editing, pacing, color grading, captioning, and audio synchronization.
We work with footage from any camera source. Phone footage shot in good light can look excellent with the right color grade. DSLR and mirrorless footage gives us more latitude for creative editing. Professional cinema cameras give us the most flexibility, but the quality of the final edit depends far more on how the footage is cut than on what it was shot with.
Our editing approach is rhythm-driven. We cut to the beat, we build momentum through verses into choruses, and we know when to let a shot breathe. Every transition, every color adjustment, and every caption placement serves the song. We are not just assembling clips in order — we are building the visual half of your music.
This is a fully remote, async-first workflow. You upload your footage, fill out a brief, and we handle the rest. Communication happens over email and project forms. No scheduling calls, no back-and-forth confusion. You get a rough cut, you give feedback, and we deliver the final video.

What You Provide
Materials We Need From You
Required Materials
- Raw footage files — organized folders help but are not required; we can work with a single dump folder
- Final audio track — the exact mix you want synced to the video (WAV preferred)
- 1 to 3 reference music videos — links to videos whose editing style or color grade you like
- Specific notes — must-include shots, timestamp cues for key moments, text overlay instructions, or any creative preferences
For large file transfers, we recommend Google Drive, Dropbox, or WeTransfer. We will send you an upload link once your project is confirmed. If your footage is scattered across multiple devices or folders, just let us know and we will work through it — messy footage is normal, and we have seen it all before.

Common Questions About MV Post-Production
What format should my footage be in?
We accept virtually any common video format — MP4, MOV, AVI, ProRes, H.264, H.265, and most raw formats. If you are unsure, send us a sample clip and we will confirm compatibility before you upload everything. Higher-resolution source files give us more flexibility in the edit, but we can work with 1080p footage and produce excellent results.
How do I send large video files?
We recommend Google Drive, Dropbox, or WeTransfer for most projects. Once your project is confirmed, we provide a dedicated upload link. If your total footage exceeds 50GB, we can coordinate a transfer method that works for both sides. Do not compress your footage before sending — we want the highest quality source files possible.
Can you work with phone footage?
Yes. Modern smartphones shoot surprisingly good video, especially in well-lit conditions. Phone footage shot in 4K with decent lighting can produce results that hold up well after color grading. The key is stable shots and good exposure. If your phone footage is shaky or poorly lit, we will work with what is there, but the final result will reflect the quality of the source material.
What if I want a specific editing style?
Send us reference music videos whose editing style you like. The more references, the better — we can pull elements from multiple sources. During the quote phase, we will confirm whether your references are achievable with your footage. Some styles require specific types of shots (fast camera movement, specific lighting, performance close-ups), so we will be upfront if your footage limits certain stylistic choices.
How many revisions do I get?
Every package includes one full revision round after the rough cut is delivered. This covers changes to pacing, shot selection, color direction, and caption styling. Additional revision rounds are $49 for personal projects and $149 for commercial projects. Major structural changes that effectively require a re-edit may be quoted separately.
Do you do special effects?
We handle light effects work — overlays, film grain, glitch effects, light leaks, textural treatments, and basic compositing. Complex VFX, 3D elements, green screen keying, or heavy compositing work is outside our standard scope. If your project requires these, we can discuss during the quote phase and either accommodate with a separate VFX quote or recommend a specialist.
