Async-First. Clear Process. No Calls.

Everything runs through email and our submission forms. No scheduling back-and-forth, no calendar Tetris — just a straightforward production workflow that respects your time.

Four Steps From Idea to Delivery

The same process applies to every service, from a $39 audio edit to a full $8,999 Mandarin song package. Simple, predictable, effective.

01

You Send Materials

Fill out the quote form for your chosen service. Upload or link to your materials: reference tracks, melody demos, vocal stems, lyrics, video footage — whatever is relevant to your project. Be as specific as you can about what you want. The more you tell us, the more accurate the quote and the faster we can move.

02

We Review & Quote

We listen to or review your materials, assess the scope and complexity, and send you a fixed-price quote within 24 to 48 business hours. The quote tells you exactly what tier your project falls into, what is included, how long it will take, and what the total cost is. No hidden line items, no "we will see how it goes."

03

We Produce the Draft

Once the deposit is paid, we begin production. Standard turnaround is 5 to 10 business days depending on the service and tier. You receive a draft — an MP3 preview, a watermarked video, or a sample of the processed audio — for your feedback. This is your chance to hear or see the direction and course-correct if needed.

04

Revise & Deliver

You review the draft and send us your feedback. We do one round of minor revisions included in the price. Once you approve and the final balance is paid, we deliver the finished files in professional formats via a secure download link. The files are yours, no strings attached.

Why Async-First?

We are based in China and our clients are across the US, UK, Europe, and Australia. Time zones range from 6 to 16 hours apart. Instead of fighting this with late-night calls and calendar Tetris, we treat the time difference as a feature: you send materials and feedback during your day, we work during ours, and you wake up to progress. Every instruction, every piece of feedback, and every decision is written down. Nothing gets lost in a call, nothing gets misremembered. You can think through your feedback carefully instead of reacting in real time. This is how professional remote production has worked for years — we have just made it the default.

Payment Process

Projects $300 or Under

100% upfront via PayPal. We send you an invoice, you pay, we start. These are typically quick-turnaround jobs — Audio Editing, Basic Vocal Mix, Basic Lyric Video — where the full scope is clear from the start and there is no need for milestone payments.

Projects Over $300

50% deposit to begin, 50% balance before final delivery. After you pay the deposit, we produce the draft. You review it, request revisions, and when you are satisfied, you pay the balance. We then send the final, non-watermarked files. You never pay the full amount without seeing the work first.

Frequently Asked Questions

Covers every service, every situation. If your question is not here, email us.

What do I need to provide for an arrangement project?

You need a melody demo — sung, hummed, or played on an instrument — plus lyrics if you have them. A phone voice memo works fine. The melody is essential because we arrange around it; lyrics alone are not enough to start. Reference tracks that show the style and sound you want are highly encouraged and help us get the arrangement direction right from the start. If you have rough instrumental ideas, chord progressions, or a scratch recording, send those too.

What is the difference between Personal and Commercial pricing?

Personal pricing (2C) is for individual artists releasing their own music — streaming, live performance, demo recordings, personal content channels. Commercial pricing (2B) is for businesses — labels releasing music on behalf of artists, agencies producing content for brands, karaoke and distribution networks, and any use where the work generates revenue for a company rather than an individual. If you pay for Personal pricing and later want to use the work commercially, you can upgrade to the Commercial license by paying the difference. If you are not sure which applies, describe your project and we will tell you.

How many revisions do I get?

Every project includes one round of minor revisions at no extra charge. Minor revisions cover adjustments like level tweaks, timing fixes, key changes, small arrangement modifications, or minor video edit adjustments. If a revision request significantly expands the original scope — for example, rewriting an entire song section or changing the visual concept of a video — we will quote the additional work separately before doing it. Extra revision rounds are available as an add-on: +$49 per round for Personal projects, +$149 per round for Commercial projects.

Do you take calls or video meetings?

No. Our process is entirely async and text-based via email and submission forms. We have found that calls add scheduling friction, create ambiguity (verbal agreements without a record), and rarely improve the outcome compared to clear written communication. If you can describe what you want in an email, we can produce it. If you cannot describe it, a call will not help — we need the same information either way. Every instruction, feedback point, and decision lives in the email thread where both of us can reference it.

Why do you require a melody demo for arrangement?

An arrangement is built around a melody — it is the structural backbone of the entire production. Without a melody, we are guessing at rhythm, phrasing, emotional arc, and harmonic direction. Lyrics alone do not tell us how the words fit over a beat, where the vocal rises and falls, or how the song moves through its sections. A simple voice memo is all you need — no need for a studio recording. If you cannot sing or hum the melody yourself, you will need to find a vocalist who can, because we need that melodic blueprint before any arranging can begin.

How long does a project take?

Standard turnaround is 5 to 10 business days from when we receive your deposit and all required materials. Simpler projects (Audio Editing, Basic Vocal Mix) are often faster — 1 to 3 business days. Complex projects (Pro Arrangement, Mandarin Full Song Pro, MV Post-Production Pro) may take 10 to 14 business days. The timeline also depends on our current production queue. We confirm the exact timeline when we quote your project. Rush delivery is available for a 30-50% surcharge and can cut turnaround to 2-4 business days for most services.

What format do you deliver in?

For audio: 24-bit/48kHz WAV files as standard, with MP3 reference files included. We can deliver 16-bit/44.1kHz WAV for streaming-ready distribution if you prefer. Stems (when included or purchased as an add-on) are individual WAV tracks. For video: H.264 MP4 in 16:9 (1920x1080) or 9:16 (1080x1920) as specified in your project. ProRes or other intermediate codecs are available on request for video post-production projects. All files are delivered via a secure download link that stays active for 30 days.

What are "dry vocal stems" and how do I export them?

Dry vocal stems are your vocal recordings exported with no effects applied — no reverb, delay, compression, EQ, tuning, or any processing whatsoever. They should be exported as individual WAV files (one file per vocal track) from the very start of your session (bar 1, beat 1) so they all line up perfectly when imported. In your DAW: solo each vocal track, deactivate all insert effects and send/return channels, and export or bounce the full session length. Label each file clearly — "lead vocal," "harmony 1," "harmony 2," "ad-lib," etc. If you are not sure how to do this in your DAW, email us with your DAW name and we will send step-by-step instructions.

How does the Mandarin songwriting process work?

It is a complete package: original Mandarin lyrics, vocal melody composed to the lyric rhythm, full instrumental arrangement, and a mixed vocal. You provide the song concept, emotional direction, reference artists (Mandarin or non-Mandarin), and any thematic or lyrical ideas. We write the lyrics with natural phrasing and contemporary vocabulary — no awkward translation artifacts. We compose a melody that fits the lyric tones and flows naturally. Then we produce the full arrangement and mix the final vocal. You do not need to speak or write Mandarin; many of our clients are non-Mandarin-speaking artists targeting Mandarin-speaking markets in Asia and diaspora communities worldwide.

What is the difference between Lyric Video and AI Video?

A Lyric Video is motion typography — animated text synced to your track with visual design elements like colour, motion, shapes, and backgrounds. The words are the visual centrepiece. An AI Video is AI-generated imagery — abstract, cinematic, surreal, or painterly scenes created using generative AI tools and edited together in sync with your music. Lyric Video puts your lyrics on screen in a visually compelling way; AI Video creates a visual world around your track. Both are delivered as MP4 files in your chosen aspect ratio, and both are post-production only (we do not film anything).

Do you offer mastering?

We do not offer standalone mastering as a separate service. Our vocal mix and arrangement services include basic loudness optimization — your track will be at a competitive level — but we recommend sending the final stereo mix to a dedicated mastering engineer. Mastering is a specialized discipline that benefits from a fresh set of ears, reference-grade monitoring, and purpose-built processing tools that general production studios typically do not have. We are happy to recommend mastering engineers we have worked with and trust if you need one.

How do I pay and what is the deposit?

All payments are processed via PayPal in USD. For projects at or under $300 (Audio Editing, Basic Vocal Mix, Basic Lyric Video), 100% is due upfront. For projects over $300, a 50% deposit is required to begin work, and the remaining 50% is due before we deliver the final, non-watermarked files. We send a PayPal invoice to the email address you provide. Deposits are non-refundable once we have begun production because they cover the time already spent. You will always see a draft, preview, or sample of the work before paying the final balance. PayPal handles currency conversion automatically if your account or card is in a currency other than USD.
